Sorry to hear that! Can you give more information about this? Is this happening on multiple devices and browsers? Let me know what page isn't loading.
It would be fastest is you could write us a support ticket here so that we can give you individualized help
it's amazing how slow it is. and after all the time spent in upload, set and organize my portfolio it's sad to think about changing platform...
Hi Dario - it sounds like there might be something going on with your setup, as Behance should be extremely fast, and runs this way for most users. Can you get in touch with us at http://on.be.net/GetHelp to give more information about what browser you're using, and we can help look into what might be causing this? Often, it's a browser extension, etc.
The site is obviously not working properly. Such a shame!
HI Karl - are you having any issues with site performance? Let me know specifically what is going wrong and we'd be happy to help!
Same here - behance is unbelievably slow Same thing happening on my laptop and iPad
Hi Hyper - can you give me more info on what browser(s) you're using on your laptop, and what country you're located in?
Hi all, I am experiencing monumentally slow performance as well.
I'm uploading new work for the first time in a few years. So far, there are 23 images all at 800 px wide plus an embedded Vimeo video.
I was going to upload more images and more embedded videos, but scrolling up and down throughout the current presentation is PAINFUL. Also, I'm trying to add caption text below each of my images, and when I click the 'insert content, text' button below a particular image, it tries to add the text box all the way at the top of my presentation — as the first element — and then I would have to use 'reorder' to pull the caption to where I want it. This seems ridiculously backward and completely time consuming.
Here are my specs:
2014 MacBook Pro 15", maxxed out
If you need any more specs, let me know.
OK, so a simple save & browser refresh fixed those issues.
However, one new issue came up:
When uploading multiple images at a time (that are all named with sequential numbering), they upload in reverse order. I then have to use 'reorder' to switch the order.
Is there a setting I have mistakenly selected?
Hi Jon - glad to hear refreshing fixe the issues you were having. Hm, there's no setting to change what order modules are added as, but they should be added in the order that you select them.
The Behance Team
Exactly the same issues as all the above. I started trying to update in Firefox 38.0. 1
Then moved to Chrome Version 43.0.2357.81 (64-bit) - (which I rarely use) It's sluggish, crawling and I have a current piece that has been saving for nearly 5 - 10mins! It appears to have yet again frozen. I have also refreshed, shut down and cleared cache several times now.
TBH I love Behance, I love how it looks and it works for me well in promoting my work - But since the bigger pixel changes came into play, it's been a nightmare to use.
I personally would've liked to have had the option to opt out of this. I do not want images that are available commercially offered at such a large size, which just leaves them open to theft. But I guess that is another issue, for another day!
My specs are
2010 Intel Mac
2.93 GHz Intel Core i7
16GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Mac OS X 10.6.8 (yes old I know, but all my current software works on it!)
Hello - sorry to hear that. To get the best help, we ask that you get in touch directly with an agent from our team so we can do a one-on-one with you on this issue. Please write to us at http://on.be.net/GetHelp
Thanks so much!
the website is just really slow, the images take too long to load even if I'm just browsing. What gives, Behance? You should probably fix this
Can you give more information about what country and city you're in, and what browser you're using? We aren't experiencing any loading issues currently, but this could be due to an issue with your internet connection or your browser.
I have always had trouble with slow loading on all my devices with Behance. I have to try multiple times to load any pages or get anything to upload. It tells me over and over that there is a server error. I still love Behance though and I'll keep using it.
I'm bumping this thread to say that Behance is still sooo slow. There are days I can't even load the feed (like the last two weeks). I launched a new portfolio and people are saying it is slow to load.
I don't get this, this happens for years and it is not like Adobe can say it is something particular to a few users or browsers. I wonder if this will get fixed or if I'm gonna have to try other platform to host my website.
