I had a full CC membeship that I canceld November last year. During that membership I used PS, ID and also Adobe Acrobat XI. I uninstalled the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application and all other Adobe products from that PC including Acrobat. I then bought a "boxed" version of Acrobat XI and installed it and activated it with my license number.
Everything worked until a few days ago where when I opened a PDF file, out of a sudden I got a popup from Creative Loud saying that I have to renew my membeship. I was wondering what was going on but ignored it, cause I thought it wouldn't affect my "boxed"version. But I was wrong. I'm still gettting the "Renew your subscription" popup AND I can't open any PDF file because Acrobat won't event start.
I already tried to run the Adobe CC cleaner program, but that didn't change a thing.
What's going on? Why is CC still on my PC when I uninstalled it? Why is CC asking me to renew when I have a totally legimit "boxed" version?
Worst thing, CC prohibits my payed for "boxed" version to run.
I am having the exact same issue.
