View > Disipaly Performance > High Quality Display.

For rasters, .psd or .tif (jpeg is OK, too, but is lossy). If the image has both raster and vector content, save in Photoshop as PDF rather than .psd.

Bob, like me and many forum regulars, is subscribed to the entire InDesign forum and does most of his responding by email becasue he finds it more efficient. In any topic you are likely to get duplicate responses because many users have an opportunity to answer the question, and may be doing so simultaneously, or simply may not have received the previous posts in their email yet.
The only way you can avoid getting additional email from your thread is if you return to the forum page for the topic and turn off your email notifications.
