I have just purchased Premiere 12. for a mac.I am making a video film containing photos and video clips amd adding a soundtrack. How can I fade out the sound track when I reach a point in the film where the video clips have their own sound then switch on the sound track again. It is easy using garageband but I cannot find any instruction fro premiere.
Welcome to the forum.
There are several ways to attenuate Audio Volume, in PrE. This article goes into several of those. Probably the easiest is to use the Volume "rubberband," the yellow line running through the Audio, when Volume is set for Display Keyframes, and then Keyframe that rubberband to fade-out the Volume, where necessary. http://forums.adobe.com/message/3472343#3472343
