    Alpha Masking Tall Content

    TGJB007
      Hello All,

I'm using the alpha masking techniche as described in the
      adobe actionscript docs here:

      http://livedocs.adobe.com/flash/8/main/wwhelp/wwhimpl/common/html/wwhelp.htm?context=LiveD ocs_Parts&file=00001410.html#173356

And it works great except for when the object I'm trying to
mask is too tall. I tried figuring out where the mask stops
working and its right at about 2875px in height.

If the content is taller than that then when you use the
setMask() function the mask just doesn't work. It's
strange because the mask mc dissappears but the
mc that needs to be masked (the tall item) is just
sitting their filling up the whole height of the screen.

Is there some size limit on the mc.cacheAsBitmap
      property or something?

I've been trying to figure this out for hours.

      Thanks,

      DC
