I do not have Acrobat Workspaces. Why did I receive the email?

Workspaces is a web service separate from Acrobat. This announcement went out to anyone who signed into Workspaces in the past year and is unrelated to any security problems.

I just got the email and I've never heard of Workspaces.

Jan 7 update: Thanks to those of you who sent us your emails. We have determined that some users were inadvertently included in the list. We don't need any more messages sent to us at this time.

If you feel that you have received the Workspaces Retirement email in error, please forward the message to *** @ adobe.com so that we can see what email address it was sent to.

I also have never used Adobe "Workspace" Account. The program name is misspelled. That makes me concerned about hacking too.

We’re actively investigating why the email was apparently sent to some non-Workspaces users.

Rest assured that if you do not have a Workspaces account, there is nothing that you need to do and you can ignore the email.

(What is the misspelling to which you are referring?  We would like to get that cleaned up!)

Sorry, I should've made that clear in my response.

We discovered, after the emails were sent out, that the query that produced the list of Workspaces users to be notified incorrectly included a number of non-Workspaces users. Most were users of other associated services such as CS Review, CS Live, Digital Publishing, or FormsCentral.

We apologize for this oversight that caused confusion for some.
