my father in law has a kobo.  i am able to download books from the public library to my laptop using ADE and then to connect his kobo via usb and drag and drop onto the kobo.  I can not do it on his laptop.  I think i have done the same thing but when i drag and drop i get the error message "name of bookCE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED  No permission to copy the book".  I have tried this with different books and same results.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

You need to authorize his copy of ADE with the same Adobe ID you are using on your laptop and on the kobo.

menu/Help/Authorize Computer

You might need to deauthorize it first (ctrl-shift-D, cmd-shift-D if it is a Mac).

Any books he already has on that copy of ADE will become unreadable when he reauthorizes.

If you already have books on his Adobe ID, post back before going any further.
