When making PDF forms with Acrobat/LiveCycle, it was possible to have a box where the user could click to attach an image. Is this capabiltiy possible when making forms with InDesign? The Buttons and Forms tab doesn't seem to have an applicable selection that would make this possible. Is there another place I should be looking?
Any help would be appreicated. Thank you
LiveCycle creates a completely different kind of form - Acrobat Forms, which are XML based and can communicate with servers - whereas InDesign creates what is known as an AcroForm. AcroForms have limited scope and uploading of files isn't possible with AcroForms.
Thanks for the information.
Factoid: Tony Harmer was the man who persuaded Adobe to extend the capabilities of InDesign to enable it to create forms (which are then finalised in Acrobat).
