Using lightroom 5.3;
I went to a photo I've been editing, and turned off the clone tool to see what changes I had made, and noticed that the overall levels of the image became brighter. The histogram shifts as well.
I cloned out a speedlight that was triggered during the shot, so I would expect the histogram to change, but aspects of the photo on the opposite side that are totally unrelated to the cloned areas are changing brightness.
Is this because of another adjustment I made using another tool that would be affected by tones in the image, and change when I modify the levels of the image? I tried pasting settings to another photo but toggling doesn't change the tones, probably because I don't have a blown-out speedlight being removed.
So basically, what adjustments should I be aware of that will see the removal of a drastic highlight and change their affect on the image because of it?
