The only mouse events that can be detected and responded to involve interacting with form fields and are Mouse Down, Mouse Up, Mouse Enter, and Mouse Exit, the first two corresponding to the primary mouse button. What is your wheel button configured to do? What do you want to accomplish by detecting these things?
Based on other questions you've asked, it looks like you're asking about interacting with a 3D annotation, in which case the best forum to ask is the Rich Media & 3D forum: http://forums.adobe.com/community/acrobat/acrobat_3d_features
