I have a 1366x768 monitor, and the tools panel (the one with all the icons for selection, shapes, paint colors, zoom, etc) is too long to fit on the screen. In CS6 it fit, but in CC things like smooth/straighten, object drawing/snap and brush size are hidden off the bottom (it took me awhile to locate them). I can widen the tools panel so that the icons are two-abreast, then everything fits... but when I try to change the stroke or fill color, the pallette dialogs now go off the TOP of the screen, so I can't change a color's alpha or clear the stroke color. I constantly need to adjust the width of the tools panel just to use it.
Is there some way for me to rearrange the items on the tools panel in CC, or remove ones that I never use?
I found this article:
which mentions a Customize Tools Panel dialog accessible via Edit > Customize Tools panel. Has this been moved elsewhere in CC? I can't find it...
"Customize Tools Panel" option is dropped in Flash CC.However ,you can undock the tools panel and place it where ever it is convenient and cutomise your workspace and save it so that you dont have to redo it everytime.
Hi Sarah, The customize tool panel is not present on Flash CC. You can log a feature request for this @https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform
As a workaround can you try the various workspace options? for eg- Designer workspace.
