Getting "the vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to open" when trying to open my ebook. I've de-authorized and re-authorized, un-installed and re-installed, and even set up a different adobe ID and still having the same problem. When I go into the help tab it says the computer is authorized, why am I still geting error messages? At first I could read the book but not transfer to Kobo Touch but after messing around with un-installing and re-installing now I can't even open the book.

Please help!

Not sure about the Kobo part, but once a book is associated with a particular Adobe ID it can't be used on any other.

If you deregister again and reregister with your inital ID you should be able to read the book again on ADE.

I'm not copying the post because you need to skim the thread to see if it really is relevant to you.
