          @creativejoan0425 – it is, well, a syntax error:

          myDoc.kinsokuTables.add( { name: "New" } );

          I looked up that object in the DOM documentation.
          Can you tell me what exactly a KinsokuTable is?

          I found one definition for Kinsoku:

          kinsoku: A rule set in the Japanese language that is used to determine characters that are not permitted at the beginning or end of a line.

          But I have no idea how this is implemented in InDesign…

            Added: KinsokuTable is an object like Rectangle; referred in the DOM documentation as Noun, because it is treated as an Object.

            In a wider sense it is also a property of the document or the app:

            kinsokuTables (property)

            See screen shot of the CHM file Jongware provides:

            KinsokuTables.png

            So to add this object to the document, the right syntax is the one I provided in the last answer:

            myDoc.kinsokuTables.add( { name:"New" } );
