I like using HTTPService with xml.
Using RemoteObject will be the most performant way to do this. AMF will allow
you to keep strong types too.

I currently have it set up where I have the same (vo) classes on both flex and the .Net side.
Then I pull the data in via a webservice. I'm interested in the speed advantages of remoting but am unsure how much I will have to change the setup on the backend. Can I use the same webservice then pull it in via flash remoting?
