    Export to screen targeted pdf

      Hello all,

I am making a pdf portfolio, which doens't contain any interactivity but is meant to be viewed on screen.

The indesign document is defined as RGB, and I'm using indesign cs6.

The images are PSD files, RGB, 72 dpi, downscaled in indesign to around 40%-15% of their original size.

The problem: in the pdf, images come out in poor quality.

See screen shot attached: the pdf on the right, the source image open in photoshop on the left. This image's effective res in indesign is 226 so I really don't understand where's the problem...

Export settings: I've tried several export settings, all yielded the exact same result: export an interactive pdf with a 96 or 300 res, automatic or JPEG 2000 compression, or export as print pdf with an X-4:2010. Always the exact same result.

      Help anyone?
