Thinking about it...
...how would you put a diagonal line through a word or number or
multiple words or numbers in a sentence or paragraph?
Thank you John.
That option is really helpful.
Geez, stumbeling upon this thread and got my hopes up high for a format-based text preference to do this.
We often have prices tied into mass text, and noone here can handle anchors within text to do this.
My approach, originally for QXP6, is to do that by script. But its an applescript, bloated for our purpose. But if you want, i can give you that…maybe you can transform that into an script for your purpose.
-If you select a plain textbox with text, it searches for a specific grep (at the top of the code) and strike that.
-If you make a text selection, that selection will get striked. If you select more that one line of text (by accident) the strikeline only goes to the end of the first line.
- also these strike line will get grouped together.
- 2 colors will be created named "Strich" and "Strich (Alternative)" for having 2 versions of the script, each for strinking with a different linecolor.
Do you want a video/do you think you can make some use of my script?
