Missing sync settings icon in InDesign status bar

      Hi all,

I'm having a real doozy, just updated to InDesign 9.2 and I went to sync my settings afterwards to pull down the latest changes I had made.

However, when I sync InDesign I can't apply the downloaded settings.

In the preferences dialogue it says Status ready to apply and there is a little information icon on just to the right of this, when I hover over the info icon the tool tip says: "To apply settings click on the sync settings icon in the status bar"

I cannot find the sync settings icon anywhere in my status bar.

      What am I missing?

      See screenshots below.

      Running Mavericks 10.9.1

      Model Name:          Mac Pro

        Model Identifier:          MacPro5,1

        Processor Name:          Quad-Core Intel Xeon

        Processor Speed:          2.4 GHz

        Number of Processors:          2

        Total Number of Cores:          8

L2 Cache (per Core):          256 KB

L3 Cache (per Processor):          12 MB

        Memory:          6 GB

I have tried the usual deleting preference files, restarting, repairing persmissions and even signing in and out of the creative cloud; also re-installing the creative cloud desktop.
