    AwayBuilder Installation?

    STCGaming Community Member

I am setting up Gaming SDK 1.3 and I'm up to step 2 of this tutorial:

      http://www.adobe.com/devnet/games/getting-started-games.html

In step 2, I'm up to the part where I have to install AwayBuilder. When I open the installation app, it says to "Select an installation package". What does this mean!?

      I'm using a mac on osx 10.9.

not sure. Do you mean the screen where it is asking where you want to app

installed? A screenshot would help if you're still having problems

            Hi STCGaming,

Is this a preview version of Mac OS X 10.9, could you please tell us the exact OS version? The file you're trying to click on is a shortcut to the AwayBuilder air file available with Gaming SDK. As a workaround, you could try double clicking on /Application/Adobe Gaming SDK 1.3/Utilities/Away Builder/AwayBuilderApplication.air

            -Thanks

When you start "Install AwayBuilder" you will get a file chooser - "Select an installation package" - now you will have to select the AwayBuilder app (wich is an AIR application), so go to -

              /Applications/Adobe Gaming SDK X.X/Utilities/Away Builder/

              and choose - AwayBuilderApplication_XX.air
