Go to the InDesign CC folder in Applications. Use the uninstaller to uninstall InDesign CC. Then use the Creative Cloud Desktop app to download InDesign. It should be the latest version, 9.2.
You don't think there is a way without uninstalling InDesign? I just discovered that Photoshop hasn't been updated lately as well, so then I have to uninstall and install everything again. Not really looking forward to that
There is a much, much, much simpler solution!
If your system is currently running the Adobe Creative Cloud application, exit completely from it.
Then restart the Adobe Creative Cloud application. At that point all applications with updates will show them!
I stumbled onto this the other day when ACC was incorrectly telling me I was up to date. It would be VERY helpful if Adobe would communicate these kind of "known issues" about ACC without users being forced to ask the question on a user-to-user forum.
The way it works as I understand it: Creative Cloud Desktop is supposed to check the server every 24 hours looking for updates. That doesn't mean it doesn't actually do it. Quitting and restarting, as Dov pointed out, forces it to check the server for updates.
