    Fireworks mac problems

      Hi all,
anyone got ideas about what the heck is going on with this situation?

Installed studio mx 2004 educational edition here at the school, locally on a 17inch core duo imac. no problems. Load it up - no problems.
Log on to a network account, dreamweaver opens no problem.

Flash takes forever and a day, and then gives me a message about a missing .xml file in the application support folder, it then continues, and opens for full functionality.

Fireworks however, gets to the initializing screen then tells me "Fireworks can not open. There is a Disk Error".

I'm confused because it works fine when logged onto the local machine on which it is installed, but not on the same machine with a network account!!

Before I launch the Mac out of a window or worse, please HELP!

          Maybe one place to start.
I think you are dealing with a user 'Permissions' issue. Anyone trying
to use Fireworks usually need administrative level permissions.
