John T Smith Jan 18, 2014 9:56 AM (in response to 16bitDec)>EVGA GTX Titan
What is your exact graphics adapter driver version?
Have you gone to the vendor web site to check for a newer driver?
For Windows, do NOT rely on Windows Update to have current driver information
-you need to go direct to the vendor web site and check updates for yourself
nVidia Driver Downloads http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
How to determine your nVidia driver version
Right click in any open area of the Windows desktop
Select NVIDIA Control Panel from the popup window
Select SYSTEM INFORMATION at the lower left corner
Driver version should be the 1st line in Details
I have a GTX285 using driver 296.10 and Win7

Mark Mapes Jan 18, 2014 2:47 PM (in response to 16bitDec)Reporting the actual driver version would give us a better chance of helping you; "the latest driver" doesn't tell us much. And even if you're on the latest, that does not rule the driver out as a possible culprit.
This article identifies several causes for the crashes with the exception code you report.

If none of the suggested solutions there help in your case, then you might try searching the forums for the exception code, "0xc0000005." You'll find numerous threads citiing the same error. Perhaps one will have another solution to try.

JSS1138 Jan 18, 2014 2:49 PM (in response to 16bitDec)Right there we can see the problem seems to be with DXtory.
As a test, work with some real camera footage. Same problems?
