I'm doing a traditiional 2D hand-drawn animation in Photoshop. And i've noticed that, while position and opacity keys etc can be selected and moved as one would expect, there doesn't seem to be a way to select and move the "Altered Video" keys.
Currently, to move a key drawing back two frames, for example, I have to ctrl-A select all and copy the frame and then move back the two frames and then paste special (in place) and then go forward to frames again and delete the original key since I don't want it there anymore.
All of that seems like an awful lot of work to accomplish what would be so simple if I could just select the key and move it back in the timeline.
Is there really no functionality for this?
You may be using it to create your toons, but this stuff really was never meant to be more than a tool to create GIF animations. Or in so many words: You are pushing it to the edge and using it in a way oit wasn't designed for. For now you will have to live with these limitations.
