1. Re: if I update my viewer from v25 to v29 can I still publish to v27 for my iPad one users?
Bob Bringhurst Jan 22, 2014 1:36 PM (in response to MABury)Yes. Your iPad 1 users will not be able to update the app, but they can keep using the v25 app currently in the store. When you create or update folios, specify the v25 folio format. Of course, any feature that requires a v26 or later folio format won't be supported. For details, see this article:

Bob Bringhurst Jan 22, 2014 2:36 PM (in response to MABury)No, you can create only a v28 or v29 app. The window for creating a v27 app is closed.

MABury Jan 23, 2014 6:32 AM (in response to Bob Bringhurst)So when I update from v25 to v29 and publish a folio at v27 for ipad one subcribers will they be able to update their app to v27 since i had never updated to v27? or Do I have still have to publish at v25 for them since I never updated to v27? I just want to make sure before I have a bunch of customers calling in saying they can't download their issue... Thanks

5. Re: if I update my viewer from v25 to v29 can I still publish to v27 for my iPad one users?
Bob Bringhurst Jan 23, 2014 7:10 AM (in response to MABury)You can no longer update your app to v27. iPad 1 users can continue using the v25 app. If you publish folios using the v25 format, iPad 1 users will be able to download them. If you publish folios using v26 or later, iPad 1 users will be prompted to update their app, but they won't be able to.

6. Re: if I update my viewer from v25 to v29 can I still publish to v27 for my iPad one users?
Bob Levine Jan 23, 2014 8:09 AM (in response to Bob Bringhurst)The only workaround I can think of is to publish renditions and to be honest I’m not sure what would happen if you did that using two different folio versions.
