Looks like you'd need to really distort the wrap path to make enough space. Why not take the bump out altogether?
Because it's a shape that's part of a logo for the company this brochure is for, so it wouldn't make sense to just have the top bump...plus I really like having it in there as a gesture. So no other way but to further distort the path?
Just looking at your screen shot, it appears that moving the nodes for the wrap at the bottom bump up to allow the word "pear" and the rest of the line to move over would work. I don't think the line of text will hit the bottom bump. And if it intrudes to close, just opening up the inter paragraph spacing a touch would allow the line of text to amply clear.
If that is not acceptable, you might have enough room to kern everything from the start of the line through the word "pear" to pull it over to the left of the bump. But I think I would try the above and see how it looks, first.
