There's a built-in option for that... Under Properties, Format, select
Number, and then select your currency symbol (a dollar symbol, I assume)
and the type of separators and decimal places...
There is no Canadian currency in the dropdown box. 550,000.00 $ is how $550,000.00 should look.
Do you mean that it should be to the right of the number, instead of the US
convention of showing it to the left?
Yes, the dollar sign needs to be after the number with a space before the dollar sign. 550,000.00 $
Use this code as the custom Format script:
AFNumber_Format(2, 0, 0, "", " $", false)
If you want to limit the allowed characters as well, enter this code as custom Keystroke script:
AFNumber_Keystroke(2, 0, 0, "", " $", false)
