What are other steps to getting audio in AE to work?

    _RenaO_

I have checked the Audio output box

I see the waveforms in my mp4 audio

      BUT still no audio

I even raised to audio extra high and added an additional audio file of the audio from the video. Seperately the video has video..but once imported it doesn't work in output!

I am importing mp4 videos that I edited to the Premiere

      Any other suggestions??

My final render time line looks like this.

The shot above shows the single video I was trying to render that visibly shows audio but I head NADA!

Please clarify the details of your problem.

Are you having problems hearing audio during your work stage, or is there just no audio in your final output renders? Or both?

Do you hear preview audio from the timeline when you do a RAM preview?

Have you tried importing audio from an uncompressed file type like a wav or aiff file?  Is this problem specific to MP4 files?  Do you hear audio from other file types in After Effects?

Finally, why are you using MP4 files at all?  MP4 should be used for delivery, not as an intermediate file when moving to After Effects.  Render using intermediate codecs like Quicktime Animation or Quicktime PNG.
