Not so long ago the Adobe Forums had a security problem which forced many of us to change our password here.
Could you have been involved in all that, changed the password at the time of the security issue, and forgotten to use the new one? And, all that started the chain of events that led to now?
Whatever the case,......
Current problem sounds like one that only Adobe can take care of. We are not Adobe.
Click on the following link.
When it opens, click on the statement "I still need help" to bring up Adobe Chat.
Please let us know the outcome.
thanks. ....Well it's more complicated than that unfortunately. I can sign in on this forum with Adobe password but when I just installed PREMIERE 12 it was ok I could open the EDITOR. When i tried again an hour later I was REQUIRED to sign in to Adobe. I tried my Adobe password but came up as invalid, i tried again still the same ,so I thought i needed a different password for PREMIERE but no that was not the case. I tried resetting the passw. and got email link to click on but that was not possible and it said if you have trouble clicking on thislink to reset passw. then copy and paste it as URL but there was no function for that anyway. But that does not sound right!! Should not have to copy and paste on browser as it suggested. However I tried signing in again from premiere video editor, which would not allow me THISTIME to use the editor without signing in to ADOBE. When I tried my passw.again it actually worked BUT now get the message .....WE HAVE DETECTED INCOMPATIBLE DISPLAY DRIVE,UPDATE DISPLAY DRIVE........ok now I read that this has nothing to do with ADOBE but with my computer's manufacturer and need to download that from the net.
This info is not clearly printed on Adobe's package of PREMIERE. It should be written on a largerspace on the back of package instead of miniscual print on the edge, also the shop selling the product should warn people about the compatibility. This would save time hassle for the consumer. I have Windows 7 HP computer. I'll be back here no doubt.
