Fonts in Photoshop are sorted by script/language, then alphabetically.
So the Roman/English fonts will appear first, then the ones with other scripts.
So it sounds like the fonts are appearing, where they should - further down the list with the other fonts using the same script/language.
Yes, but photoshop shows only 150... fonts while I have 600 installed.
I choose the font to use with a plugin for photoshop that installs as an extension called diskfont
because that's alot faster then goin' down the row of the font list in the typetool in cc
So the problem I constantly have is that diskfont generates a list with all the different fonts
so I can easily choose the font I wanna use with the certain text
All the fonts for instance that are seen in the picture are not available in the cc font list
they are available in other programs, ( word, other graphic programs etc...) just not in cc
And goin' down the list, I only find a fraction of the fonts in the cc list that diskfont shows.
While when I do a font test with the script, they all pass but they are not seen in the list.
sorry, with the insertion of the picture, my text got al little all over the place ;-)
the text regarding the piucture should have been at the end.
The third party plugin may be part of the problem.
Or your OS font cache may be corrupt, causing fonts not to be listed.
I'm using windows 8 64bit.
The adobe caslon pro is nowhere to be found in my cc type list, as many many others.
I'ts really strange , since they all pass with the test script that is provided by adobe in the troubleshooting.
thx for your reply
no one has the solution to this?
