I've got a problem with Indesign CS6.
I've installed the software on a machine running Windows 7 x64 and installed the latest Updates.
The application works properly when run as any administrator, but crashes when it is launched on any restricted account.
For Troubleshooting purposes I've manually given a restricted test user full permissions for the following folders and their respective subfolders:
C:\Program FIles (x86)\Common\Adobe
C:\Program FIles (x86)\Common\AdobeAIR
D:\Program Files\Adobe (Installation Path)
D:\Temp (TMP and TEMP system Variable)
I have also given full permissions to the Adobe registry keys:
HKEY_USERS\<User-ID>\Software\Adobe (for every User)
Still Indesign crashes on startup, right after loading the application frame. I can see the app window normally, just the same as on an administrative account, but right after it finishes loading I get the message "Indesign has stopped working..".
Process Monitor shows failed access to several system directories as Indesign's last action, apparently the program is searching for a "QuicktTimeGlue.dll" in various directories.
Is there any way I can get this software to work on a restricted account?
Thanks in advance,
