i´m concerning about an update that i recently downloaded from:
with the following downloadlink:
https://get3.adobe.com/de/flashplayer/download/?installer=Flash_Player_12_for_Other_Browse rs&os=XP&browser_type=Gecko&browser_dist=Firefox&d=McAfee_Security_Scan_Plus_FireFox_Brows er&p=mss&dualoffer=false&type=au&browser_vers=26
it took a time to download it and afterwards i saw that the file occupied about 800mb!
Now i checked the same link another time and it resulted to be another file with only 1mb!
it seems to me like its a fake?
Thank for you help!
System is Win XP home
Browser Firefox 26.0
Flash plugin version 220.127.116.11
IS legitimate. It's the download site for Flash Player.
I have no idea how the download got to 800Mb. The "stub" installer is 1mb and it downloads a 17mb file for the full installer.
I don't use the "updater" myself. I prefer to use the FULL offline installers for my updating:
