You put the running header on the masterpage, linked to a unique paragraph style used to define the chapter name on the first page of the chapter. The header will automatically fill with the correct text.

SRiegel Jan 27, 2014 12:02 PM (in response to straightlife)In the Text Variable >Running Header drop down, there is an option to Define the variable. Choose the paragraph style of your chapter name there, (your running header can be styled differently from the chapter name.)
