Got around 20 graphs created in MS Excel 2010 (originally tried to create them in illustrator put was a complete pain)
I would like to import them into my Indesign CS5 doc but make it so that if the Excel file is updated, I just update the link within Indesign.
Methods I have seen suggest exporting as a PDF from Excel and then placing the PDF into Indesign. But that means everytime there is a change I have to re-export the PDF. Plus I have had some issues with printing PDFs placed in Indesign.
Any method to import the charts directly without a middle program?
The simple answer is "no." There is no way to place "live" Excel graphs without using PDF.
Thats all I needed to save trolling through any more google results.
