SOLpubs Jan 29, 2014 2:22 PM (in response to Jeff A Wright)Thanks for the reply.
Yes.
After a Windows update, I was prompted to update Creative Cloud. After I did that, it repeatedly attempted to start, then crashed. Could not get the start/crash cycle to stop, even with a machine restart. With Windows Error Reporting Service running, it was consuming nearly all resources.
So I:
- reverted to a restore point before Windows Update
- uninstalled TCS 4 and Creative Cloud
- ran Windows update
- installed TCS 4 without Creative Cloud
Thing seem to work, so far.
I don't think Creative Cloud is necessary for TCS 4, but want to verify that.

3. Re: CEPServicemanager.exe crashing repeatedly
Jeff A Wright Jan 29, 2014 3:43 PM (in response to SOLpubs)You are correct the Creative Cloud is a separate product offering from the Technical Communicator Suite. They do use similar licensing and installation technology. I am not aware of any specific conflicts.
You may want to also inquire or search in the Technical Communicator Suite Installer forum at http://forums.adobe.com/community/framemaker/techcom_suite_installer.
