I am using Creative Cloud. I added a 2 gig SSD just to use as a scratch disk and in a matter of days it was full. I found a 1.7 gig file on the drive yesterday and deleted it. Worked fine for a bit but again it's back and I can't save. Why does PS need to create these damn big files? and why don't they go away when you save and re-start?
Any advice is appriciated.
2gb is tiny. You sure you don't mean 2TB
You need at least 50 gig scatch drive, 100 g better, 200 g best.
Yes I meant to say 60 gig SSD,but I found the problem. When my computer goes to sleep the SSD drive is not coming out of hibernation and it was using a 2 gig partition from another drive which of course was too small.
Thanks for the replies though!
