This program is stopping because too many errors have occurred

Hi,

I have some .exe projector files. They worket just fine in my old Windows XP. Since I have the new Windows 8.1 Pro I can't launch those files. It always come down with this error "This program is stopping because too many errors have occurred". I tried to install latest flash player, shockwave, run the program in WindowsXP compatible mode but still no change.....can't run those files

Hello Tom,
Would need more details to analyze problem.
One thing I have noticed with Win 8 is the file paths have changed.

Which details? Thats everything that it does, it will run to black screen (no pictures or what so ever there) and immediately crush with this error. If you will navigate me which else details I should give you, I will try.

Yes I have them, as I said, it works in WinXP, but that very same folder with exe file and all other folders and fiels dont work on Win 8

With the .dir files we got a chance.
What version of Director and what xtras are being used?
