Select all those elements btn 1-10 in the Elements Panel.
Once Selected, move over to the Properties Panel and to the right of the Title field you should see a small c icon/button.
Click it and assign a class, example rot, short for rotation.
Now all you have to do is
element = sym.$("rot");
No need to do them all idividually.
This is exactly what I was looking for, thank you so much!! I always forget about that class button
Eep! I spoke too soon. Is there a way to exclude the current button with this method? I need all the buttons /except the current selected one/ to reset!
Apologies for the delay. Is it possible to better describe or visually detail the end result you are after.
I am having a hard-time pin pointing the effect you are after.
(".rot") ... dot before rot, I think.
I have 7 black buttons on my diagram. When clicked, each button plays a short audio file and changes form black to white. When you click another button on the page, the previously clicked button to 'resets' and changes back to black. Like when you click a radio button you can only have one selected at a time.
I have it all working properly, but there is a lot of repeated code. Each button has code to play the linked audio, turn the button white, and reset the other 6 buttons on the page. This is how it looks now. Hopefully that makes more sense!
