1. Re: Using the Topic Id for CSH with Robohelp Server.
RoboColum(n) Feb 3, 2014 2:12 AM (in response to sdesab)Hi sdesab.
This question has been answered in other forum posts you have made. It also does not help anyone trying to respond if you enter the same question in multiple places. Anyone able to respond will almost certainly monitor all the forums.
In my last response I stated that what you want can't be done. You have to use numeric mapids. Please do not keep repeating your question in the hope this will change. Thank you.

sdesab Feb 3, 2014 4:23 PM (in response to RoboColum(n))Thank you very much for your reponse.
I understood that Robohelp server cannot be invoked other than with Map numbers.
I was rather looking for help to use the mapping file from the existing application to obtain the CSH, which is not anwered yet.
Please let me know if the question is not clear.
Thanks for your suggestion, will not repost the same questions.
Thanks,.
Sdesab.

3. Re: Using the Topic Id for CSH with Robohelp Server.
RoboColum(n) Feb 4, 2014 12:58 AM (in response to sdesab)OK. You should just be able to hand the map file to your developers and let them work out what the code is to call the topic. If they don't know, and there are some that don't, get them to start using this path:
http://<servername>/<context>/server?project=<projectname>&ctxid=<ctxid>&area=<areaname>
where:
- <servername> is the IP address or server name.
- <context> is your Adobe RoboHelp Server context name.
- <projectname> is your project name.
- <ctxid> is the mapid
- <areaname> is your area name.
