Curt Y Jan 31, 2014 1:41 PM (in response to Jeff Arola)Using Win 7 and jpg picture. It is 3896 x 2672 pixels at 1.9 mb. A little overkill for quality of 110 year old picture.

4. Re: Scan Lines when inserted into Open Office Doc.
Jeff Arola Jan 31, 2014 2:20 PM (in response to Curt Y)It looks like it's something particular to that file.
If i turn off Use Graphics Processor in photoshop, then i can see the same thing as open office shows, depending on the view % in photoshop.

5. Re: Scan Lines when inserted into Open Office Doc.
Jeff Arola Jan 31, 2014 2:30 PM (in response to Curt Y)If in photoshop i run the Filter>Pixelate>Facet one or two times and then save the file as a tif, it looks much better in open office.

9. Re: Scan Lines when inserted into Open Office Doc.
Jeff Arola Jan 31, 2014 9:19 PM (in response to Chris Cox)I saw some of the lines in photoshop cc, but it wasn't till i opened up the jpeg Curt posted in photoshop 6, that i really could see the lines clearly.
After i turned off Use graphics processor in photoshop cc, then i could see the lines clearly.
