I am strictly an Elements Windows user. The way that I delete a saved Effect Preset in My Presets is:
In My Presets, click on the thumbnail for the Effect Preset to be deleted in order to select it and give
a blue frame to the thumbnail. Then I hit the Delete key of the computer keyboard.
Have you tried that for your Premiere Elements 12 Mac set up using the appropriate computer delete?
Thanks for this. I picked up this approach earlier but on an iMac the Delete function doesn't have the same effect as Windows. The preset I created/trying to delete remains.
Hence my question.
Thanks for the reply.
This is going to be "from what I have read" until a Premiere Elements Mac user comes along.
Have you tried the combination of fn + delete
I didn't spot this one.
You have cracked it!!!
FN + Backspace Key works!
Many many thanks!
You have made my day with that great news.
Someday when and if I go Premiere Elements Mac instead of Windows, I am going to be dangerous.
Great news. Great job.
