There seems to be a permission issue between the author's RoboHelp HTML desktop application (The authoring client application) and the Server where Tomcat was installed. You mentioned you are not very familiar with web applications/servers. I'm afraid it does take some web server understanding to set this up properly. t's impossible with this limited information to give you any recommendations except to be very careful to follow the online help step by step. Perhaps you could get assistance from your web administrator?
You refer to "RoboHelp 9". Are you referring to the RoboHelp HTML 9 - the authoring client tool, or Adobe RoboHelp Server 9, the server application?
BTW, IIS is not necessary and frankly, I think it just gets in the way.
