@Willi – are you sure?
InDesign CS5 v7 or InDesign CS3 v5 ???
I backed up all my software using the Time Machine, then transferred my Adobe software via the iMac Time Machine, but still had to do a total reinstall of all Adobe software when I upgraded to Mavericks, the Adobe programmes could not be recognised, or did not transfer properly, probably more me not clicking something on the 'Time Machine' than the iMac, fortunately, I have the CS5 installation Cd’s and happy to say they all work now. (fingers crossed)
The only thing I can say since upgrading to Mavericks from Mountain Lion is that the iMac is a little slower and slugish starting up or opening Adobe programmes.
Transfer and migration will never work with Adobe software, only installation from the original installer or from the web.
I had CS5 in mind.
Hello Willi, I am the type of person who believes what is written on the box when it comes to Mac, unfortunately being a little older and wiser, I now know that this is not always the case.
Thanks to the knowledgeable and expert staff and forum posters, I now know a lot more than I did before.
