I have a registered and activated years ago copy of PS version 8 ..for no apparent reason PS pop up tells me I have changed settings and need to activate...
now will not allow me to do so by web sorry not available at the moment ...nor by phone...
This should not happen and as it seems fault of detection.. should be more easy to rectify....long standing customer... the adobe help site is riddled with complication

Unfortunately, Adobe has shut down the Activation Servers for CS & CS 2.
