Without system information, project details, what version of AE or even the full error text nobody can even begin to guess.
oups, of course. Sorry.
i´m using the Late 2013 MB-Retina with intel i7 2,3 ghz, 16GB of ram and the NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M with 2GB GDDR5.
And i´m working with after effects cc, which is included in the creative cloud. And basicly it was the full error text. But I uploaded a screenshot. It is german text, I dont know if it will be very helpful. The second screenshots are some project-settings.
Let me know if you need more information.
The first thing to do when you get errors is figure out what changed since the last time the software worked. If nothing changed, what is different about this project? If nothing is different then something changed or a file became corrupted. Try the procedure with a clip that worked in the past. If none of those things work then make sure your software is up to date. If that doesn't fix it tell us everything about your system, your project, and the exact steps you followed. Then, maybe, we can help.
It was my very first project because i bought the creative cloud last saturday. So i cant change something. The exact steps are: I made a new conposition and "after I click on "3D Camera Tracker" AE brings me that Error".
And it becomes stil worse. I just wanted to render a clip in premiere cc, but it says there is a "serious problem". and then premiere cc is crashing.
nothing works, halleluja. Steps in premiere: Add the movie-file to premiere -> cmd+m -> crash
And i checked it again, MacOS & the adobe-things are updated.
before I tell you everything about my computer, a added two screenshots.
thank you for your responses.
Please post a screen grab of your memory and multiprocessing settings in AE preferences.
Did you fix the problem ? Because I have the same on my Mac Pro (I updated it two days ago, and I downloaded after effects cc yesterday). When I started the camera tracker, the multicolored weel appeared and after did'nt answer. Then, this message appears. I don't understand...
EDIT : I can't do any analysis (stabilization... are impossible)
no, the problems are still there. Is premiere working on your macbook?
It seems that this issue is caused by some folders being created with the wrong permissions set. This morning, a new version of the Creative Cloud desktop application was released that fixes this issue.
See this article for more information:
That article doesn't mention After Effects specifically, but I'm reasonably sure that the same fix will help here.
Let us know either way.
But else, I found how to fix the problem : It has worked with another session, the first I created, when I installed the Mac. It's indeed certainly a permission issue... However, I don't understand why it didn't work with the other session because it is an andministrator session too...
EDIT : No, I don't have Premiere
thank you Todd! everything works great after the cc-update.
have a nice day!
