Spacing issues with the variable in text captions and smartshapes

Hi

I am using Captivate 7.0.1.237 on Windows 7.

I have created a custom quiz with the last screen showing a congratulatory message and the total score. The total score is a variable. The caption looks fine on Edit Mode. But when I publish it as SWF, the line spacing breaks at the variable.

I have inserted the variable using the Format accordion. What I have already tried:

• Using both text captions and smartshapes
• Different browsers (FireFox 24, IE 11, Google Chrome 32)
• Typed the content in Notepad and copied into the smartshape and text caption.
• Typed the content directly in the smartshape and text caption.

I get the same output in every scenario.

Please advise.
