What to do when even reset password is not accepted

In attempting to view a you tube, the "flash player has expired" message popped up.  When I attempted to login with

username and password, password was rejected.  So I contacted adobe and reset my password. Still won't accept, so

can't download and install.  Help needed.

It's NOT your Adobe password you need, but your OS X adminsitrator password.
