It used to be that one was not allowed to use both installations simultaneously but I’m not sure that still applies.
Thanks. If there are other computers in my house, belonging to other members of the family, can Adobe Creative Suite also be installed on them? Is there a limit on how many times it can be installed in the one house?
Creative Suite CS6 permits a maximum of two simultaneous activations of the software with the same license (serial number).
So you can install it on as many computers as you wish but you can only activate it for use on two computers simultaneously. Those computers can be anywhere in the world. They don't have to be on the same premises. Adobe servers only monitor the number of activations against the software serial number. Nothing else.
Further conditions are that the activated software cannot be used on two computers at the same time (Creative Cloud software can) and the activated software should be used by the same license holder (owner of the serial number). It is not intended for multi-user use.
If other family members want to use the software, they should buy their own CS6 license or join the Adobe Cloud.
Thank you. That answers my question.
