I am trying to create a form, doing most of the work in InDesign. I have a table with 4 columns. The first column is the item, second is QTY, third is RATE, and fourth is TOTAL.
What I have done is create a second layer with text frames converted to PDF text boxes overtop of the last three columns in the table. (I can't figure out a way to turn a table cell into a PDF textbox. Is there a way to do this?) My "RATE" Field is set to read only, but when I put text in it and export to a PDF, the field shows up empty.
What am I doing wrong here? Do I have to put the prices in through Acrobat?
(I can't figure out a way to turn a table cell into a PDF textbox. Is there a way to do this?)
Draw a frame rectangle without release the mouse, press up arrow key to add rows and press right arrow key to add column then press Ctrl+left arrow key for vertical space between rows and Ctrl+down arrow key for horizontal space between columns.
Thanks for that Salah.
Any ideas on the prices carrying over from InDesign to Acrobat?
