I've exported the ePub file from InDesign CC and found some special characters are looks as box i.e., as junk. But while unzip the ePub and open the particular XHTML in internet explore, it displays fine.
Can anyone in helping me to sort this issue?
In which program the glyphs are displayed as bboxes?
It indicates that this glyph is either not included in the font, that the font which has this glyph is not embedded in your EPUB, or that the program or device cannout use the font for display and uses a different font without that glyph for display.
Thanks for the response, opened ePub using ADE. But without any changes, XHTML is displaying correctly in internet explorer as mentioned earlier.
You will never know in which application the recipient will open your file. You have to create it so, that it shows correctly in every application on every device. As far as I don' know what causes your problem here, you should take care on the advices in my first post.
