A couple years ago I upgraded my Adobe Premiere Elements (APE) 7 to APE 11. I have the software package for APE 7 but not APE 11. I believe that is because I upgraded online. My problem currently is that the program will not load. I get the following message: "THIS APPLICATION HAS FAILED TO START BECAUSE MSVCR80.DLL WAS NOT FOUND. REINSTALLING THE APPLICATION MAY FIX THE PROBLEM. " I think all I need is the fill and its location. Please advise.
Now, for the download installer file, for PrE 11, if you purchased from Adobe, then log-into Adobe.COM with your Adobe ID, go to My Products, then My Downloads, and the link to the file should be there.
If you purchased from a certified reseller, you might need to either go to their Web site, or to ProDesignTools, where you would download the trial for PrE 11. Be VERY certain to follow their instructions perfectly, or you will get "Access Denied." http://prodesigntools.com/tag/ddl/page/2 Scroll down to get to the trial download for Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements 11. When installed, just plug-in your S/N to convert the trial to the full-paid version, and also save that downloaded installer, perhaps to a DVD-Data disc.
Remember - follow the instructions perfectly.
