Starting with the Andala Font details,
At the bottom of the Character Set, click the "Open Font in Google Fonts" link.
Click the down pointing arrow next to the chain link.
Click on the blue "zip file" in "Download the Font Families as a zip file" to download the font to your PC.
Open the zip on your PC/Mac and install the font to your system. It will show up in Photoshop's Type Tool Font List.
Thank you, that worked.
I was kind of curious myself, so I gave it a look to see if I could figure it out.
We both learned something today.
I haven't actually checked Ps to see if it is there -
did you? But I installed it without any problem on my Mac, with your help.
I have a Macbook running Mavericks and I see it in CC and CS6. So no fear, Andada is there, ready to use.
How do you like Mavericks?
I haven't updated yet.
Well, I have a mid-2009 MacBook and so far no problems. I upgraded over 10.8. I'm satisfied and the graphics for my Nvdia 9400M is not buggy as it was in 10.8. The nice part is the upgrade was free and there were no issues with the upgrade. Check that any software and plugins you depend on are Mavericks ready or at least have upgrades on their website.
Check into some Mac forums or google to see if there are issues with your model before you go for it.
